After having three kids, I really needed to work on strengthening my pelvic floor muscles and trying to help myself as much as I could.
I was advised by my physiotherapist who specialises in women’s health, to exercise as much as possible the pelvic floor, but I wasn’t sure exactly where to turn for help in doing the appropriate exercises that were safe and efficient. Nechoma was the right person to help me in my quest for working on my pelvic floor!! We started off first identifying the correct muscles to work on by doing simple, manageable exercises and week by week, the exercises got more and more challenging.
I felt my control and the strength of those muscles increasing up to the point where my physio told me that my control was of a very high standard and I no longer had to see her.
I am so grateful to Nechoma for her patience, reassurance and her confidence that I could really help myself make things stronger and in a way that is not too daunting or time-consuming. She showed so much understanding and gave me very good advice on ways to improve things, whilst showing so much care for which I am so thankful.
